Jimmies travel to Northwestern Saturday in GPAC action

The 16th-ranked University of Jamestown Jimmies look to get back in the win column when they face Northwestern (Iowa) College in a Great Plains Athletic Conference matchup Saturday at 6 p.m.

The Jimmies swept the season series in 2018-19, winning 113-94 on December 5 in Jamestown and 98-85 in Orange City on February 13. UJ and NWC each have three wins in the last six games of the series.

Jamestown ranks among the top 10 in the NAIA in assists (2nd, 165), total rebounds (2nd, 396), total points (4th, 803), defensive rebounds per game (4th, 33.3), blocks (37, 7th), and 3-point field goals made (8th, 87). Mason Walters (FR/Jamestown, ND) is 5th in rebounds (86), Brock Schrom (JR/Grand Rapids, MN) 7th in blocks (15), Jack Talley (JR/Sioux Falls, SD) 9th in points (168), and Isaiah Dobson (SR/Stillwater, MN) 10th in assists (39). Terrell Alfred (SR/Orlando, FL) is just outside the top 10 in 3-point field goals made, as his 26 are 11th.

MILESTONE WATCH: Jack Talley is five points away from 600 in his career...Terrell Alfred needs 49 for 600 career points...Isaiah Dobson needs 27 more points for 500 in his career and one three-pointer away from 100...Brady Birch (JR/Melrose, MN) is 32 points and Brock Schrom 34 points away from 500.

Jamestown is at Mount Marty (S.D.) on Monday, November 25 before returning home to host Dordt (Iowa) on December 4 at 8 p.m.
