A panel discussion on Delaware House Bill 190, an act to amend the Coastal Zone Act of 1971, will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 8, in Mitchell Hall on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.
Featured panelists will be Delaware Rep. Edward Osienski, primary sponsor of HB 190; Kenneth T. Kristl, director of the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic at the Widener University Delaware Law School; and Gerald Kauffman, director of the Delaware Water Resources Center in the Institute for Public Administration at UD.
Tom Powers, director of UD's Center for Science, Ethics and Public Policy, will moderate the discussion.
Questions will be taken from the audience.
The free public program is cosponsored by the Center for Science, Ethics and Public Policy, Delaware Wild Lands Inc. and the Delaware Environmental Institute (DENIN).
