Rockford Ready Initiative Hosts the 3rd Annual SouthsideScene

Rockford Ready, a health literacy initiative led by the City of Rockford's Health and Human Services Department, is hosting their third annual SouthsideScene art and health fair this Saturday, April 20th. In partnership with the Rockford Area Arts Council, Rockford Ready is partnering with local artists and health systems to celebrate the culture and art of our city while empowering Rockford residents to take a more active role in their health journeys.

"Our third annual SouthsideScene is an exciting event you don't want to miss out on," said Tiana McCall, Rockford Ready Community Outreach Coordinator and this Saturday's emcee. "Come join us on Saturday to eat, dance, appreciate art, celebrate community and leave feeling empowered about your health!".

The 2024 SouthsideScene will feature music, food, talented artists - poets and painters, kids' bike giveaways, prizes, health resources and more. All Rockford residents are invited and welcome to attend the event.
