In case Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz haven't offered enough criticism of the "financial records" case against Trump --- "Where's the crime??" --- presided over by Judge Juan Merchan, listen to Hans von Spakovsky of the Election Law Reform Initiative, also a senior legal fellow in the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at The Heritage Foundation. He says Manhattan DA Bragg has "no legal leg to stand on."

He starts with "Federal Campaign Finance Law for Dummies 101" to show quite clearly that payments made by attorney Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels were not a campaign-related expense. Then he shows how the whole thing unravels. Here we go…

As you know, last week Florida Judge Aileen Cannon released unredacted materials connected to the so-called "classified documents" case brought by unauthorized Special Counsel Jack Smith. When Julie Kelly compared the newly-available unredacted version of the affidavit to get a search warrant for Mar-A-Lago with the previously redacted version, she was able to see exactly what had previously been blocked from public view.
