In DC for August? Invite a guest and treat yourselves to lunch at the Club

Start making the National Press Club Reliable Source the destination for your mid-day meal dining again, with lunch service from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Menu highlights include salmon and New York steak. A variety of sandwiches and wraps are available, as well as salads. And the hearty burger with all the trimmings and fries from the 14th-floor kitchen tastes better than the same meal offered anywhere else.

If you can't stay to eat lunch in the Club because of your deadlines, but want the great food, consider take-out, which is still available - Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Club members have asked if the popular Press Club lunch buffet is being offered again. Reliable Source Manager Mesfin Mekonen says that the buffet service is still not available at this time, due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic restrictive measures. But for those who miss it, he says "maybe next year" it will make a comeback.

The bar remains open after lunch service, until 8 p.m. Dinner service is available Thursdays and Fridays beginning at 4:30 p.m.
