COVID-19 UPDATE

The Wrangell Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was notified on January 19, 2022, of three (3) new positive COVID-19 cases that were identified last night (after the News Release went out).

Additionally, there was one case reported this past weekend that was not reported in the Sunday News Release. Therefore, that additional case is reported in the total number of cases below.

Please note that cases that we are reporting only cases that have been reported to us. Cases reported do not include at-home positive tests.

  • If you would like to pick up an at-home COVID-19 test, please contact the Wrangell Fire Department at 907-874-3223. If you would like to order a COVID-19 test online, free of charge, please visit covidtests.gov.
  • If you have symptoms or are a close contact, call Wrangell Medical Center at 907-874-7000 to schedule an appointment to get a free COVID-19 test.
