April 2024 Stakeholder Update

April 2024 Stakeholder Update

Dimensional Energy has been riding the wave of momentum from the close of our Series A round late last year. The first quarter of 2024 was filled with a whirlwind of events as we spread our reach to the policy makers, industry shakers and ceiling breakers!

Clean Economy and Impact Summit

On April 5th, 2024, Dimensional Energy participated in Emerson Collective's Clean Economy and Community Impact Summit at the University of Arizona Tech Park in Tucson, AZ. The event included a panel featuring our own CEO, Jason Salfi, who discussed community engagement and the positive impacts for Arizona thanks to funds from the Federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. The event was a huge success as Jason and other Dimensional Energy staff met with key figures including Tucson Mayor Regina Romero, Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, Chief Economist for the Invest in America Cabinet at the White House, Heather Boushey, and Former Senior Presidential Advisor on Infrastructure Coordination, Mitch Landrieu. Following the event, summit attendees toured our Tucson Technology Demonstration Center.

Our team, along with Elemental Excelerator, Emerson Collective, and Climate Power are proud of the work that went into making this event possible. We hope that participants left with the understanding that the scalability of clean energy is not only possible - it's already in motion.

Dimensional Energy on the Move

Dimensional Energy has been on the road to share our narrative, our goals, and our mission. Jason attended Elemental Excelerator's Clean Energy Business and Innovation Week in Washington, DC, where he met with industry and policy leaders to collaborate and strategize on the future of the renewable energy sector.

In March, Jason presented at CERA Week 2024 in Houston, TX. There was standing room only at his presentation and a crowd of highly curious and well-informed attendees passionate about eFuels and Dimensional Energy's approach to the energy transition. He shared Dimensional Energy's story, the economics of eFuels, information about our technology, policy, workforce and the future that we plan to create. Jason had the opportunity to connect with industry trailblazers and enjoyed learning about other solutions to transforming the energy industry.

Jason discussed Dimensional Energy's impact on the local community and economy of Tucson at the Clean Economy and Community Impact Summit.

Jason, along with DE CFO John Santoleri, attended Elemental Excelerator's Elemental Interactive event in San Francisco this past month. Every year, this invite-only event brings together over 400 CEOs and founders, investors, community groups, policy makers and artists to ignite imaginations and inspire collaborations. Groundbreaking stories from the most innovative founders in climate were shared and we are thrilled and excited to have the privilege to have shared our story and forged relationships with other exceptional thinkers.

Projects and Partnerships

Earlier this year, the groundbreaking hybrid-electric flight company Ampaire ran a ground test in their hybrid plane using 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) produced by Dimensional Energy. This was the first step before an inflight test can be completed and is a noteworthy advancement toward the future of decarbonizing the aviation industry. Jason noted:

"Technology providers have to collaborate beyond innovation and into execution. By combining Dimensional Energy e-fuels with Ampaire's aircraft technology that can reduce the amount of fuels combusted during flight, we quicken the pace up the steep curve of the energy transition and reduce the need for extraction faster. We are thrilled to collaborate with Ampaire on this groundbreaking initiative. Our partnership underscores our commitment to advancing sustainable aviation fuel solutions that offer tangible benefits to the aviation industry and contribute to a greener future."

Our tri-partnership with Lafarge Canada and Svante is moving forward and we have broken ground on our point-source plant in Richmond, British Columbia. The electrolyzer and electrical containers have arrived onsite with more technology from Tucson on the way. Our Canadian plant operators are working busily to get the plant up and running. Each year, manufacturing industries play a significant role in creating greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). Acknowledging this reality, Dimensional Energy, Svante and Lafarge Canada are proud to lead efforts to address and mitigate the negative effects these emissions can have on the climate. As we continue our endeavors, we're eagerly anticipating being up and running in the next few months, symbolizing a joint effort toward environmental sustainability!

Our operators and engineers stand in the location of our future point-source plant in Canada.

We have numerous other projects on the horizon in the coming months. Dimensional Energy is in the final stage of site selection while we delve into engineering optimization for our targeted 200 barrel per day facility in western New York. The next 3 years will be filled with project planning, construction, and technological advancements. Our inaugural commercial plant is giant leap toward alleviating the effects of climate change, fostering job creation, and generating revenue for our partners at Seneca Holdings.

Envisioning Partners, our lead investor for our Series A funding round, released its annual impact report for 2023 and we are delighted to have been highlighted in their investment portfolio deep dive. The report outlined Dimensional Energy's journey as a company, our environmental impact, and an interview with Jason. We are incredibly grateful to have the support and opportunity to collaborate with Envisioning Partners and eagerly anticipate continuing our partnership.

Last year the agency Zeus Jones worked with Dimensional Energy as a creative partner to design a brand that embodies the essence of our company. Their guidance and contribution were crucial factors in creating the imagery and logos that you see today. Now, they've released a case study to highlight the journey of transforming an abstract concept into a robust brand identity.

Technology and Research

Catalyst Engineer Tej Chavan working with the extruder in our R&D Lab in Ithaca, NY.

The Ithaca, NY R&D team has been laser-focused on the continued improvement of our proprietary syngas catalysts. The catalysts were designed in-house from scratch, allowing for total control of recipe development and supply chain acquisition. We're excited to share that performance metrics are not only being hit but are being surpassed as the formulation development continues to be improved. Scaled manufacturing will be accomplished by our tolling company and full-scale production is slated to commence later in the year.

Company Growth

Our Tucson team posed for a shot in front of equipment before it is shipped out to our Richmond, BC plant.

As Dimensional Energy expands our reach, our workforce is also expanding! Since the beginning of 2024 we've welcomed 14 new team members, all passionate about our technology and our work to tackle climate change. They bring experience in a variety of industries, professional and personal achievements, and innovative minds. We are still in the process of hiring and have several job openings that can be found on our career page.

Future of Fundraising

Our leadership team took a break from their long day of meetings at our recently established Houston office for a quick group photo.
