Mayor O'Connor to call for closed session

Mayor Michael O'Connor has requested a Closed Session on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Mayor O'Connor will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene in Closed Session at City Hall.

This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article §3-305(b)(1)(i) to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of an appointee, employee, or official over whom it has jurisdiction. The topic to be discussed is a recommendation concerning certain appointees.

Mayor O'Connor will entertain a motion to this effect and will comply fully with the Open Meetings Act.
