POSCO INTERNATIONAL (CEO: Joo Si-Bo) and POSTECH HOLDINGS (CEO: Yoo Joo-Hyun) held an export conference for small and medium-sized venture companies at POSCO CHANGeUP Ground located in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, on the 25th.

Now in its third year, the export conference was designed for small and medium-sized Korean startup companies struggling to enter overseas markets in spite of their excellent technologies. POSCO INTERNATIONAL provided practical guideline to the participants based on its accumulated global business experience and expertise.

POSTECH HOLDINGS, the technology holding company of Pohang University of Science and Technology, co-hosted the conference for two years in a row, helping expand the participant pool of highly promising startups of the future.

Attending the conference were 18 outstanding small and medium-sized venture companies, each with its own distinguished technological expertise in a wide range of fields including AI, IT security, eco-friendly materials, and platform service. The conference was divided into two sections, namely competency training and customized 1:1 consultation.

During the competency training, specialists in trading finance, overseas marketing, and many other fields at POSCO INTERNATIONAL shared their knowledge directly applicable in practice. Designed to address more specific areas of concern, the 1:1 consultation was especially well-received among the participants.

We anticipate this occasion to contribute to creating a win-win model that benefits POSCO INTERNATIONAL, POSTECH HOLDINGS, and SMEs alike."

POSCO INTERNATIONAL has been diligently practicing ESG governance in order to build a mutually beneficial cycle with SMEs through various support programs including its Mutual Cooperation Funds, which provides overseas marketing assistance to SMEs.
