CCSD Will Celebrate Graduation May 26-28

Cherokee County School District's Class of 2022 will walk across the stage for graduation ceremonies next week!

The ceremonies for CCSD's 2,936 graduating seniors will be held at First Baptist Church of Woodstock (11905 Highway 92, Woodstock, 30188). The ceremonies will be streamed on www.fbcw.org so family and friends who are unable to attend still can participate.

This year, there will be no limitations on the number of guests per senior, ending the pandemic practice of ticketing. Next week's ceremonies also include a first for CCSD: the inaugural graduating class for i-Grad Virtual Academy, CCSD's new online school that launched this school year for grades 9-12. The school will expand to serve grades 4-12 next school year.

"We look forward to celebrating with our entire community next week, as our students would not have reached this important milestone without our community's support," Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower said. "Graduation is the highlight of the year for me and our School Board as we congratulate every one of our amazing 2,936 graduates. We can't wait to see all that the Class of 2022 will do to make our community and world a better place."
