MacArthur Memorial to Host Holocaust Remembrance Event

NORFOLK, Va - The MacArthur Memorial will host a screening of the documentary film Nobody Wants Us in partnership with the Holocaust Commission of the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater on May 9 at 7 p.m. Nobody Wants Us was produced and directed by Laura Seltzer-Duny, an award-winning PBS documentary filmmaker.

Nobody Wants Us features the stories of Jewish refugees who fled the Nazi invasion of Europe aboard the SS Quanza and hoped to find safety in the United States.
