Inseason Action #13 in Ocean Salmon Fisheries, North of Cape Falcon (all subareas)

NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the commercial salmon fisheries north of Cape Falcon. Modifications are needed to preserve the length of the season and to ensure that the Chinook quota in the North of Falcon area is not exceeded.

• Inseason action #13 modified the Chinook salmon landing and possession limit for the commercial salmon troll fishery across the entire north of Cape Falcon area, regardless of subarea, to: 40 Chinook per vessel per week (Thursday-Wednesday) starting 12:01 AM May 26 through June 8, 2022; and 20 Chinook per vessel per week (Thursday-Wednesday) starting 12:01 AM June 9 through June 29, 2022.
