Neighborhood Arts: Sunny Gravely-Foushee

Sunny Gravely-Foushee

Sunny Gravely-Foushee earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Howard University and Master's in Art Education from Pratt Institute. She is a visual artist who has worked on several murals in Greensboro, including the "Say it Loud Mural" street mural, and exhibited at the African American Atelier. She is currently Executive Director of TAB Arts Center Non-Profit and co-owner of The Artist Bloc, "Where Creative Minds Meet."

Program Details

Piedmont Blue Preservation Society will host two Blues and Foods program concerts 1-5 pm on Sunday, September 25 and Sunday, October 23 at The Renaissance Shops at Phillips Avenue. At the concerts, Gravely-Foushee will host creative activities for concert attendees to learn about Kings Forest's six notable residents featured on the sidewalk murals painted around the community's park. Gravely-Foushee will also invite residents to share about their favorite Kings Forest neighbors.
