Paulo Cafôfo together with Portuguese nationals and Portuguese descendants in Manchester and Jersey

The Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities (SECP), Paulo Cafôfo, will make a two-day visit to the Portuguese communities in Manchester and Jersey.

The Secretary of State will be in Manchester on the 8th of June, for contacts with members of the community, but also for a working visit to the Consulate General of Portugal in Manchester.

On the 9th of June, in St. Helier (Jersey), the SECP will participate in the 10th of June reception organised by the City Mayor, maintain contacts with the Portuguese community, and make a visit premises to the Honorary Consulate premises.

The visit is part of a set of initiatives with the diaspora, for this mandate, named "Portugal in the World: Paths to the Appreciation of Portuguese Communities", with the aim to strengthen ties, bring the Portuguese residents abroad closer to our country, in the week in which the Day of Portugal, Camões and Portuguese communities is being celebrated.
