AER calls for nominations to Independent Panel and Concurrent Evidence Sessions

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) today released its position paper on the pathway to the 2022 Rate of Return Instrument.

The position paper is informed by the culmination of stakeholder feedback to date.

The AER is seeking nominations for two expert groups to assist in informing the Rate of Return:

• a group of experts that will provide advice and evidence to the AER, and
• an independent panel that will review the AER's draft 2022 Rate of Return instrument.

Guidance for the nomination process is available on the AER website. Nominations are confidential and due by close of business on Friday 17 September.
