Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand hosted a welcoming dinner in honour of Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia

On 6 November 2022, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand hosted a welcoming dinner in honour of H.E. Mr. Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia during his official visit to Thailand between 4 - 7 November 2022. The dinner was participated by more than 150 Thai and Saudi representatives from both public and private sectors.

Both sides discussed ways and means to further enhance trade and investment cooperation in multi-faceted areas for mutual benefits, based on the strength and expertise of the two countries. Both sides also discussed the preparation of the official visit to Thailand of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the APEC Economic Leaders' Week, which Thailand will be hosting 14-19 November 2022.

The Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia also held talks with H.E. Mr. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, and H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, where both sides discussed cooperation in the field of energy between the two countries and complementarity between Saudi Vision 2030 and Thailand's Bio-Circular-Green Economy policy (BCG model).
