Bismarck City Commission to hold public hearings

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck City Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at 5:15 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Wachter Family Revocable Trust for the annexation of Lots 3-9, Block 1; Lot 1, Block 2; Lot 1, Block 3; Lots 1-30, Block 4; Lots 1-28, Block 5; Lots 1-24, Block 6; Lot 1, Block 7; and Lot 1, Block 8, Cottonwood Parkview Addition. The property is located in south Bismarck, between Santa Fe Avenue and East Burleigh Avenue, along the west side of South Washington Street NE.

• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning change from the CG - Commercial zoning district to the DC - Downtown Core zoning district for Tract 118 of part of Blocks 5 and 7, Original Plat and to the DF - Downtown Fringe zoning district for all of Blocks 49 and 51, Original Plat. The property is located in central Bismarck, south of the BNSF railroad tracks between South 1st Street and South 3rd Street.

• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning ordinance text amendment relating to Residential District Setbacks (Sections 14-03-04 (General Provisions), 14-04-01(RR Residential District), 14-04-01.1 (RR5 Residential District), 14-04-03 (R5 Residential District), 14-04-06 (R10 Residential District), Section 14-04-07 (RM Residential District) and Section 14-04-08 (RT Residential District)). The proposed amendments would simplify how side and rear yard setbacks are calculated in the RR, RR5, R5, R10, RM and RT zoning districts.

• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of amendments to the Growth Phasing Plan - Urban Service Area Boundary (USAB). The proposed amendments would modify priority and future areas of the USAB of the Growth Phasing Plan to reflect changing development conditions.
