Minister Luigi Di Maio's telephone conversation with Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riad Malki

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, had a telephone conversation with his Palestinian counterpart, Riad Malki, on 17 May. Minister Di Maio reiterated Italy's call for an immediate cessation of violence and the launch of de-escalation measures. Italy urges all parties to engage in mediation efforts conducted in particular by the Quartet and its members.
