Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on his Budapest campaign trail: Mayor Karácsony’s biggest sin lies in abundance of missed opportunities

On Saturday, Prime Minister-President of Fidesz Viktor Orbán helped with the campaign of the Budapest branch of Fidesz, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister's press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

Mr Orbán attended an orientation session for candidates and activists in support of candidate for Mayor of Budapest Alexandra Szentkirályi in the 5^th district Fidesz office where he told them: Fidesz in Budapest must find a way to make the most of the capital of the nation in cooperation with the government.

We must identify overarching goals, we must work very hard, and we will eventually win, he stressed.

The real sin of incumbent Mayor of Budapest Gergely Karácsony should be sought in the abundance of missed opportunities, because of which the city is suffering now, he added.

Mr Orbán, Ms Szentkirályi and Fidesz supporters of central Budapest then walked over to a café called 'Ibolya presszó' where the President of Fidesz related stories attached to the place about his years as a university student.
