Gallantry Award Winners from The Indian Army Indian Navy and Indian Airforce

Gallantry award winners from the Indian Army Indian Navy and Indian Air Force residing in Goa were felicitated by the Hon'ble Governor of Goa as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations at ceremony organised at Raj Bhawan on 05 August 2022. The event saw the presence of 26 gallantry award winners from wars and operations from 1961 to 2020. The Hon'ble Governor, expressed his gratitude and thanked the recipients and their family members of all possible support. He also appreciated three Services for reaching out to the award winners and organising the event.Over 100 NCC cadets attended the event, interacted with the awardees and reaffirmed their pledge to serve the nation. The event culminated with an impressive performance by bands of the Indian Army and Navy.
