Two Suspects Arrested for Breaking and Entering in Dorchester

At about 1:30 AM, on Friday, April 26, 2024, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) arrested Samil Mejia, 39, of Boston, and Nicolete Park, 29, of Boston, on breaking and entering charges.

Officers responded to the area of 45 Senator Bolling Circle for a report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. Officers were advised by the victim that the incident was recorded on the home's surveillance system, and officers were able to broadcast a description of two suspects.

Officers observed the suspects walking on Morton Street towards Harvard Street. Officers were able to stop the suspects, and advised them of the reason for the stop. After further investigation, officers determined that both suspect's had active warrants for their arrests.

Mejia was placed under arrest and charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime, receiving stolen property under $250, and trespassing. He was also booked on an additional arrest warrant for breaking and entering a motor vehicle in the nighttime for a felony, and Larceny under $1200.

Park was placed under arrest and charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime, receiving stolen property, possession of burglarious tools, and trespassing. She was also booked on an additional arrest warrant for larceny over $250.

Both suspects were arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
