PUCK DROP FOR GAME 7 VS. PITTSBURGH SET FOR 7:00 PM ON SUNDAY, MAY 15

NEW YORK, May 13, 2022 - The National Hockey League announced this evening that Game 7 of the New York Rangers' First Round Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Pittsburgh Penguins will start at 7:00 PM ET at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, May 15. Game 7 will air on MSG Network and TBS.

Sunday will mark the Blueshirts' 16^th Game 7 in team history and first since May 29, 2015 in the Eastern Conference Final against Tampa Bay. New York is 9-6 (.600) all-time in Game 7s and 7-1 (.875) at home. The Rangers have forced a Game 7 after trailing 3-1 in a series for the fourth time in team history. The others were Round 2 vs. Washington in 2015, Round 2 vs. Pittsburgh in 2014, and the 1939 Semifinal vs. Boston. The Blueshirts won all three of those series.
