Artsakh Republic President and Premier of the Republic of Armenia chaired a working consultation dedicated to the solution of the socio-economic issues in Artsakh

On January 24 a working consultation dedicated to the solution of socio-economic issues in Artsakh took place in Yerevan with the participation of the delegations led by President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
State programs planned to be realized in Artsakh in 2022 and the process of activities being implemented in that direction were on the discussion agenda.
In his speech President Harutyunyan expressed his gratitude to the RA Government for the substantial support rendered to Artsakh during the war and in the post-war period. "There was no problem in terms of solving healthcare, accommodation and other issues, regardless of the amount of benefits provided. We have always felt a special attitude on the part of the Armenian Government, its members and all the officials on the whole. In the post-war period, everything was done to solve our most difficult problem - creating conditions for internally displaced persons to find temporary residence first of all in Artsakh and Armenia and, of course, starting work on a thorough solution of the existing problems," Artsakh Republic President said.
Arayik Harutyunyan stressed that Artsakh's annual budget for 2022 has unprecedented amounts, which was made possible thanks to an interstate loan and a grant of 144 billion drams provided by the Armenian Government to Artsakh. According to the Artsakh Republic President, this will allow the implementation of a number of ambitious social, housing and infrastructure development programs outlined as a result of joint discussions between the two governments.
In his speech, the RA Prime Minister underscored the elimination of the consequences of the war in Artsakh, noting that due to joint efforts, a transition from the stage of a possible social crisis management to the stage of implementation of development programs has already taken place, expressing conviction that by that logic the cooperation will be of a continuous nature.
"I am happy to have this discussion. By the way, this is not our first discussion on that topic. We had a lot of discussions, some of them were purely working, and were not even covered, while the others' coverage was ensured. "I think, in general, we can state that the programs are implemented effectively," the RA Prime Minister emphasized.
