About the meeting with Mr. Luvsan Battulga, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Mongolia to the Republic of Kazakhstan
On May 8, 2019, Executive director of CICA Secretariat Mr. Khabib Mirzozoda had a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Mongolia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Luvsan Battulga.
Parties discussed perspectives on the cooperation and preparation to Fifth CICA Summit in Dushanbe.
Kh. Mirzozoda informed Ambassador that next CICA Senior officials committee meeting will be held this year on 30-31 May in Nur-Sultan in order to discuss Declaration of the upcoming Summit.
Kh. Mirzozoda also expressed the wish about more active participation of Mongolia as a coordinator in environmental dimension of the CICA. He also expressed the hope that in cooperation with People's Republic of China, which is co-coordinator in Environmental dimension, Mongolia would make a valuable contribution in a realization of this important dimension within CICA activities.
Kh. Mirzozoda also informed interlocutor about the events that will be organized in the short term, such as youth forum in Ramallah (Palestine), the film festival and forum of young bloggers of the CICA member countries (Kazakhstan). He expressed the hope that Mongolia would become an active participant in mentioned events. Kh. Mirzozoda also noted that the Republic of Kazakhstan has transferred into the CICA Secretariat's fund an additional contribution in the amount of 100 thousand US dollars for activities that meet the objectives of the CICA.
Ambassador Luvsan Battulga thanked interlocutor for relevant information. He noted that the level of Mongolia's representation at the forthcoming fifth CICA Summit would be decided in the near future, and the Secretariat would be informed officially. He also confirmed that he will initiate inclusion of organization of events that are aimed to realization of coordinator functions of Mongolia in the environmental dimension, into plan of events of MFA of Mongolia for 2020.
