Scouts of the Southern Military District in Karachay-Cherkessia have started preparing for the competition Army Scout Masters

At the Shedakhino training ground, military personnel of the reconnaissance units of the mountain motorized rifle unit of the Southern Military District, stationed in Karachay-Cherkessia, began preparing for the professional skills competition Army Scout Masters of the Army International Games of 2022.

During the training, mountain scouts in full gear will overcome a water barrier up to 100 m wide for a while, make a march for 3 km to the assembly area and hit targets with standard weapons.

In addition, the servicemen will demonstrate the skills of throwing a knife, an infantry shovel and a hand grenade for accuracy and efficiency, as well as overcome water obstacles and equip ambushes.

One of the most difficult stages of preparation will be passing the 800-meter Scout Trail with 20 obstacles and making a 5 km long march over rough terrain with full combat gear.

In the classes, which are attended by about 200 scouts of the formation and 20 units of military equipment are involved, it is planned to use more than 500 units of imitation tools for maximum approximation to the conditions of combat operations.
