LPP SA Successfully Puts Warehouse Management System PSIwms into Operation in the Fulfillment Center in Moscow

Berlin, October 21, 2021 - Clothing manufacturer LPP SA has successfully put the PSIwms warehouse management system implemented by PSI into operation in the new fulfillment center in Moscow, Russia. This enables the logistics processes of the center, which specializes in the Russian e-commerce market, to be managed efficiently.

With an area of 30,000 square meters, LPP can process up to 95,000 orders per day in the new fulfillment center, tripling its processing capacity on the Russian market. The warehouse has space for up to 3 million items of clothing.

"It's the fourth PSIwms roll-out in one of our e-commerce warehouses. This will increase our efficiency in online order processing at the new location in Moscow. With the help of AI algorithms, the system streamlines the order dispatch process by optimizing the picking routes. In view of the enormous interest shown by Russian customers in our online shop offer, storage capacities and delivery times for e-commerce orders are the key to success. Within just two months, we broke our previous record for incoming and outgoing orders in relation to the previous volume of our business in Russia", explained Sebastian Sołtys, Director Logistics at LPP.

This has been the fourth PSIwms roll-out in one of the LPP's e-commerce warehouses. The efficiency of the warehouse processes can be significantly increased through the optimal warehouse design with the appropriate arrangement of the individual zones, including entry, storage, picking / consolidation and dispatch zones.

LPP has been steadily expanding its global delivery and sales network since. After the fulfillment center in Moscow has gone into operation, the storage capacity will be over 270,000 square meters.
