HR/Payroll and Treasury Services are excited to announce that Western is moving to an entirely electronic payroll distribution.
To bring Western into compliance with the state mandate to pay everyone electronically, this spring Western will launch Payroll Cards as a replacement to paper paychecks.
If you are currently receiving pay via a paper check and do not want to receive your pay via Payroll Card, you must enroll in direct deposit now. You can visit https://hr.wwu.edu/getting-paid and follow the direct deposit enrollment instructions.
There are many benefits to a Payroll Card, for both employees and for the University.
We're excited to facilitate this change as we transition to a more secure, efficient, and sustainable payroll system. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Human Resources at [email protected] if you have any questions.
