BMI Celebrates its 2024 ACM Award-Winners

BMI is proud to celebrate its award-winning affiliates from the 59th annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards.

Lainey Wilson earned the top honor of Entertainer of the Year and the award for Female of the Year, declaring her as the first woman in three years to receive the honorary ACM Triple Crown Award that celebrates artists who have won New Female/Male Artist/Duo or Group of the Year, Female/Male Artist/Duo/Group of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.

Luke Combs received the award for Single of the Year for his multi-week chart-topping cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car," while Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson won Music Event of the Year with their collaboration on "Save Me." Chase McGill and Greylan James received nods for Song of the Year as co-writers of Jordan Davis'* "Next Thing You Know." Sister-duo Tigirlily Gold earned their first ACM award for New Duo or Group of the Year, while Dan* + Shay took home Duo of the Year. Longtime affiliate Jessie Jo Dillon earned the Songwriter of The Year title, while Parker McCollum's "Burn It Down" won Visual Media of The Year.

Additionally, the evening was celebrated with performances from BMI artists Kane Brown, Tigirlily Gold, Cody Johnson, Parker McCollum, Thomas Rhett, Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, and a special rendition of Toby Keith's "Should've Been A Cowboy," performed by Jason Aldean.
