Traffic stop leads to drug arrest


On February 9th, 2018, the New York State Police arrested Chad Carlson, 27, of Sugar Grove, PA, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

Carlson was pulled over on I-86 for a traffic violation and during the course of the traffic stop, Carlson was found to be in possession of a Vicodin pill, a controlled substance for which he did not have a prescription. Carlson was taken into custody, processed at SP Jamestown and released with an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket. Carlson is scheduled to appear in the town of North Harmony Court on a later date.
