In the interest of public safety, the Edmonton Police Service is issuing the following warning: Luis Kenny is a convicted violent offender, and the Edmonton Police Service has reasonable grounds to believe he will commit another violent offence against anyone while in the community.
Kenny will be residing in Edmonton after he is released from jail, today on April 25, 2024. He is currently subject to a court order, with conditions, and is being managed by the Behavioural Assessment Unit of the Edmonton Police Service.
Kenny's violent offences have resulted in physical harm to his victims, and he has been known to carry and utilize weapons in the commission of his offences. Kenny has been known to quickly escalate to violence with his partner (girlfriend) or anyone within the community.
Kenny has been placed on a series of court ordered conditions including:

The Edmonton Police Service is issuing this information and warning after careful deliberation of all related issues, including privacy concerns, in the belief that it is clearly in the public interest to inform the members of the community.
