Chance for Droitwich residents to meet their local councillors

Droitwich South East residents will have the chance to raise any issues or questions they may have with local councillors at a free drop-in event

The Meet Your Councillor session will be held from 11.30am to 2.30pm on 27 February at the Red Lion on Worcester Road, Droitwich Spa.

District Councillors for Droitwich South East Ward, Richard Morris and Sital Harris, will be on hand to provide information on a number of issues for people who live or work in the area.

Issues raised at previous sessions have included littering, planning applications, speeding and dog fouling, as well as positive comments regarding Wychavon District Council tax charges and waste collection.

Councillor Richard Morris, said:'This event is part of the Meet your Council programme which aims to create connections with residents in order to understand their needs. Coming together and discussing what is important in our communities allows us to develop a plan to improve the lives of our residents.'

Councillor Sital Harris, said:'As councillors, it is so important that we engage with the community and maintain an active dialogue with residents. By doing this we can make real change.'
