Gillibrand Statement On Shooting Of NYPD Officers

Addressing the shooting of two NYPD officers tonight, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand issued the following statement:

"I'm horrified that one NYPD officer was killed in the line of duty tonight and another is in critical condition. My heart is with their families, friends and their fellow officers. We must do more to get guns off our streets and prevent these tragedies."
