Clear Sky 2019 all-army contest to be held at coast of Azov Sea

Clear sky - 2019 will be held at the Yeisk training ground in the Krasnodar region on the basis of the Training centre of the air defenсe army of the Land Forces of the Russian Armed Forces.

In total, the competition will be attended by more than 200 servicemen consisting of 8 teams from military districts, Airborne Forces, Northern Fleet coastal troops, as well as from the Military Academy of Air Defence of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

During the competition, anti-aircraft gunners will practice combat firing from MANPADS and portable anti-aircraft guns from the place and in motion at targets simulating a helicopter, high-speed air targets flying both towards and away, as well as lightly armored targets.

Also, servicemen will choose the best in driving armored personnel carriers on rough terrain of the sea coast.

The competition will be held May 20-25. The team that showed the best result will represent the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation at Clear sky International competition, which will be held in early August at the Korla training ground in the people's Republic of China.
