On April 26, 2024, Ms. Sheri S. Cook, a member of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of First US Bancshares, Inc. (the "Company"), notified the Company of her resignation as a director of the Company effective April 26, 2024. Ms. Cook's decision to resign from the Board is not related to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or procedures. Ms. Cook has served as a member of the Company's Board since 2014. The Company thanks Ms. Cook for her many positive contributions and dedicated years of service.
