Steve Aoki and Warner Bros. Consumer Products Drop the Official Dim Mak x Rick and Morty Collection

Dim Mak, the streetwear brand and record label founded by DJ/Producer Steve Aoki, and Warner Bros. Consumer Products today announced the Dim Mak x Rick and Mortyapparel collaboration. Inspired by the hit Adult Swim series, the collection features artwork from the interdimensional misadventures of the ill-tempered mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his cautiously devoted teenage grandson, Morty Smith. Dim Mak x Rick and Mortyofficially drops at 9am on Friday, May 13, 2022 (PDT) and will be available on dimmakcollection.com, a0k1verse.xyz, and NTWRK. The collection includes a fun mix of effervescent graphics featuring Rick, Morty, the Unproductives and even Pickle Rick on Dim Mak's bold colors and tie dyed tees ($38-45) and hoodies ($75-$85).

"I love how Rick and Morty forces you to reconsider so many existential realities like 'What does this all mean?' and 'Who am I?' I also love how the characters have access to multiple dimensions and infinite possibilities to exist in. Although awful things happen sometimes on the show, it also gives a glimmer of hope that everything will work itself out," said Steve Aoki, who credits Rick and Morty as his favorite adult animated series.

Rick and Morty is the Emmy-award-winning half-hour animated hit comedy series on Adult Swim that follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe. Rick Sanchez is living with his daughter Beth's family and constantly bringing her, his son-in-law Jerry, granddaughter Summer, and grandson Morty into intergalactic escapades. A global phenomenon, the critically acclaimed series was the #1 comedy in the US in 2019 and 2021, with seasons 1-5 now available to screen on HBO Max. Rick and Morty season six premieres worldwide later this year

About Dim Mak

In 1996, Steve Aoki founded DIM MAK and developed it into an influential independent record label, music and fashion lifestyle brand. Responsible for launching the careers of seminal acts such as Bloc Party, The Bloody Beetroots, The Chainsmokers, M.I.A., Keys N Krates, The Kills, and countless others, the independently owned DIM MAK has consistently pushed new musical movements via its staunch DIY ethos. As a fashion leader, Dim Mak cultivates community by bringing together collaborators from all walks of life including the likes of Hiroshi Fujiwara, Sanrio, and Playboy, to name a few. With nostalgic references toward his youth, Aoki often includes manga, music, and games into the Dim Mak aesthetics. Aoki named his record label and subsequent fashion brand "Dim Mak" as a nod to Bruce Lee's signature fight move: the touch of death. With a back catalog hundreds of records deep, a history of legendary live events, and a fully formed clothing line, Dim Mak continues its global mission of promoting boundary-pushing music and culture 'by any means necessary.'
