Creating a 'Gravitational Field of Health', Sino-Ocean's Healthy Building System Gets a New Upgrade

December 2021 marks the 6th anniversary of Sino-Ocean's "Building·Health" initiative.

As an early pioneer of "Building·Health" in the real estate industry, Sino-Ocean Group has achieved fruitful results in healthy buildings from introducing the international WELL healthy building standard to China, to launching and continuously revamping the "Sino-Ocean Healthy Building System".

Today, Sino-Ocean is still deepening its commitment to "Building·Health", to take the opportunity of yet another upgrade of its healthy building system to advocate for a healthier lifestyle and to create a "gravitational field of health" that draws everyone in to contribute to the attainment of the "Healthy China 2030" goal.

After 6 years of in-depth development, Sino-Ocean's healthy building system gets another new upgrade

In China today, people's demand for the quality of living space has undergone profound changes, and healthier, safer, and greener high-quality buildings prove to be scarce in the real estate market. But as early as 6 years ago, Sino-Ocean Group had already begun implementing its forward-looking vision of "Building·Health", and has since created numerous industry-leading healthy building products.

Recently, Sino-Ocean Group has once again upgraded the "Sino-Ocean Healthy Building System" to furnish it with more diverse dimensions of health, broader coverage of health-related scenarios, more salient application scenarios, more systematic implementation, and better technical execution.

Integrating 6 years of intensive practice and research, and starting from user perception, usability, and technical features, Sino-Ocean Group has accomplished an upgrade of the 5 dimensions of "Building·Health": healthy site selection, healthy landscaping, healthy buildings, healthy interiors, and healthy culture, while accompanying it with new demand of a new era through 21 customer health scenario systems including harmony with nature, cozy homecoming, diverse sports offerings, walking and running infrastructure, and healing by nature. In addition, the Group has increased the total number of its health value points from 74 to nearly 90, with as many as 200 technical attribute standards.

From the birth of "Building·Health", to the establishment of the Sino-Ocean Healthy Building R&D Center, to the introduction of the international WELL building standard through Sino-Ocean Elite Palace in Guangzhou, to the launch and upgrade of the "Sino-Ocean Healthy Building System" as the Group's proprietary intellectual property, Sino-Ocean has been gaining foothold one step at a time and actively addressing the health needs of our era, and is committed to caring for the health of every user through healthy buildings. As of early December 2021, the Sino-Ocean Healthy Building System has been promoted in more than 130 projects in 40 cities, with over 20 million square meters of areas constructed. Meanwhile, Sino-Ocean has registered 27 projects for WELL certification, 11 of which have successfully obtained final certification, making the Group a domestic leader in both the number and constructed area of WELL-certified projects.

In 2021, Sino-Ocean Group officially launched the "Health Pilot Program" to establish the "Building·Health 2030" alliance, organize the "Sino-Ocean Run for Charity" city relay series, and implement the "Old Community, New Greening, Health +" program to continuously expand its frontier in health and explore new approaches of healthy building development.

Actively Exploring Ways of Creating a Full-Dimensional Gravitational Field of Healthy Living

No matter how the market changes, for a company seeking long-term development, the priority should always be to put customers first, better satisfy their needs, and create products that meet the ever-evolving demands of our time. As a company that adopted a "long-distance running mindset" since its very inception, Sino-Ocean has stayed fully aware of this principle.

The newly upgraded Sino-Ocean Healthy Building System signifies full-dimensional improvement of the Group's product system capabilities with the user at the core. By creating a full-dimensional gravitational field of healthy living for users, Sino-Ocean aims to meet China's increasing demand for healthy living in the new era.

And for the first time, Sino-Ocean has initiated a multi-dimensional upgrade of all time, all ages, and all spaces, besides health optimization of the physical environment. With the integration of medical and health research, Chinese culture and customs research, environmental hygiene, architecture and other interdisciplinary research, Sino-Ocean has established a set of healthy living models based on years of research and project implementation, and has formed healthy environment solutions in science-based, systematic living scenarios.

In terms of healthy lifestyle guidance, Sino-Ocean places more emphasis on establishing a healthy model of proactive behavior to guide customer lifestyles. On one hand, Sino-Ocean focuses on guidance of healthy behavior and redefines "proactive health." On the other hand, the Sino-Ocean Healthy Building System features great differentiation and diversity in its actual guiding practice, and is highly achievable, thus bringing exclusive impact unique to each user.

In terms of the integration of sustainability and health awareness, Sino-Ocean adheres to a user-centric approach and takes into account the integration of health and low-carbon emissions. Sino-Ocean attaches great importance to the relationship between "green" and "healthy", adopting a good number of sustainable low-carbon design standards and requirements; and through low-carbon design strategies concerning materials and equipment, renewable energy utilization, and a green supply chain, it clearly defines the technical measures for the value upgrade of the health system, thus helping the Group achieve its strategic goal of "Achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2050".

As evinced by its efforts in promoting the implementation of the "Building·Health" concept, Sino-Ocean not only talks the talk, but also walks the walk with research and practice to champion the cause. The three characteristics of this upgrade--physical environment health solutions, healthy lifestyle guidance, and sustainable low-carbon technology integration--unambiguously showcases Sino-Ocean's lasting focus on customer needs and commitment to creating a "gravitational field of health for all".

Going forward, while further practicing the concept of "Building·Health", Sino-Ocean Group will continue to improve and upgrade its existing healthy building system, and bring more healthy products to life to continue its sustainable and healthy development.
