LT. GOV. ROBINSON HONORS STEVE SMITH SR. AND THE STEVE SMITH FAMILY FOUNDATION AT 2024 HALIFAX RESOLVES DAY CELEBRATION

On the first day of Mental Health Awareness Month, it was with immense pride that we presented The Resolute Award to Steve Smith Sr. and the Steve Smith Family Foundation. This prestigious honor, bestowed annually by the Lieutenant Governor, celebrates individuals who embodied unwavering commitment to the betterment of North Carolina. This year, we were privileged to recognize Steve Smith Sr. and the Steve Smith Family Foundation for their outstanding contributions. Their tireless dedication to serving the people of North Carolina was a beacon of hope, particularly in the realm of mental health awareness and support. We saluted their resolute spirit and exemplary efforts as we embarked on this important month of raising awareness and fostering understanding for mental health issues.

Founder and Board Member Steve Smith Sr. stated, "I am deeply humbled for my Foundation and I to be selected for this award and it's an honor to be a part of this monumental day. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community through our mental health and wellness initiatives."
