MHC Employee Receives Lytx Driver of the Year Award

LEAWOOD, Kan., April 9, 2021 - Murphy-Hoffman Company's (MHC) Fritz Nordmann received Lytx, Inc.'s Driver of the Year award for his outstanding record behind the wheel of his Ford F250 delivery truck. This is the fifth consecutive year that an MHC driver has won the award.

Lytx virtually awarded the honorees, including Nordmann, in late March 2021. The awards acknowledge the best professional drivers and coaches using the Lytx DriveCam program who are committed to improving safety and efficiency behind the wheel and within their organization's fleet.

Nordmann maintains a clean driving record while working as an outside parts salesperson at MHC Kenworth - Colorado Springs. Over the past five years, he has driven approximately 250,000 miles and has had zero 'coachable' DriveCam events, moving violations, or preventable collisions while working at MHC.

'It is a great honor for Fritz to receive the Driver of the Year award from Lytx,' MHC Director of Safety and Risk Management Neal Seyfert said. 'Fritz is deserving of this recognition and takes his job, as well as the award, very seriously. He truly embodies MHC's commitment to a world-class safety culture every time he gets behind the wheel while delivering great services to customers.'

MHC first partnered with Lytx, a global leader in video telematics, in 2014, and has integrated DriveCam into every company vehicle to proactively take a stance on safer driving. This year, MHC congratulated a record 205 drivers with awards for receiving zero 'coachable' events through the Lytx DriveCam program.

'Over the past year, we have witnessed drivers and coaches cope with one of the most difficult challenges they've ever faced,' Lytx Vice President of Safety Services Del Lisk, Lytx said. 'We're excited to honor these heroes of the road for their remarkable work and sacrifices to keep our country moving forward.'
