KSU Finishes Sixth at Magnolia Invitational

Leaderboard

WEST POINT, Miss. - Kennesaw State women's golf team concluded play Monday at the Magnolia Invitational the Old Waverly Golf Club. The final 36 holes were played today with weather expected Tuesday.

'Overall, this is a very disappointing finish to our fall season. We had high expectations headed into this fall season, with a new talented group, but we've struggled to put together three quality rounds other than at the Golfweek challenge. Big numbers really hurt us today and quickly derailed the positive momentum we had going. Each round today we had it under par early and gave it all back,' said Head Coach . 'No doubt this group has talent and I'm glad we now have a long offseason to reflect on what was good and what needs thorough work. We will also look forward to welcoming Alizee to the roster to add some much-needed depth.'

On a course with a par 72 and 6320 yards, the Owls finished in sixth place in a field that includes the Mississippi State, Auburn, Chattanooga, Iowa, LSU, Memphis, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Tulsa, and South Florida.
