The UCI World Cup Downhill calendar is four stops down and already the high flyers are showing their colors whilst the fight for the top spots builds in intensity. In the women's category, it was Tahnée Seagrave who took the top spot in Val di Sole, Italy, on July 8.
Tahnée's outstanding run edged her far forward within the ranks. She now first overall in the Downhill Women Elite rankings.
Tahnée definitely has her work cut out for her though because downhill elites Myriam Nicole and Rachel Atherton are hot on her tail. Fellow GoPro Athlete Rachel finished only 0.10 seconds behind Tahnée, a gap not even visible by the human eye, and whilst Myriam unfortunately missed the Val di Sole stop of the series, she will surely be back in full force to defend her title at Andorra on July 14 - 15.
Huge Hi-5 to Tahnée on this big win! We can't wait to see you tear it up Andorra.
