Hodge Lone NYS Representative at 71st U.S. Girls’ Junior

STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Caroline Hodge of Larchmont will be the lone New York State representative at the 71st U.S. Girls' Junior Championship at SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisconsin next week, July 22 - July 27.

Park qualified at Rockrimmon Country Club in Stamford, Connecticut with a score of 75. She will tee off at 7:11 am CT on Monday on Hole #10 and 12:26 pm CT on Hole #1 on Tuesday.

The U.S. Girls' Junior consists of 36 holes of stroke play after which the starting field will be reduced to the low 64 scorers. After the cut is applied, the championship will continue over six rounds of match play and will conclude with a 36-hole final on Saturday.

SentryWorld will be set up at 6,307 yards and will play to a par of 72. The course has homed one other USGA Championship, the 1986 U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links.

Hodge is entering her second season on the Florida State Women's Golf team. Prior to college, she led Ursuline School to four consecutive state championship victories and won the 2017 New York State High School Section 1 Championship. Hodge also captured the 2017 Metropolitan PGA Championship and the 2016 Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational.
