06.09.2021 (09:00)

During the active phase of the exercise, the military personnel of the two countries stopped the breakthrough of mock illegal armed formations into the territory of the union state. For this, the units carried out reconnaissance with the forces and means of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces. In order to stop the further advance of the mock enemy, a pair of Mi-8 transport and combat helicopters carried out a landing of a tactical assault force of the Russian-Kazakh group in remote mountainous areas under the cover of two MI-24 attack helicopters. Having occupied the defence area, setting up outposts, the participants in the exercise patrolled the protected area. Having discovered the advancing bandit detachments of the mock enemy, the servicemen of Russia and Kazakhstan entered into battle with the advancing enemy and threw his units back from the conditional border of the union state.

For further search and destruction of scattered groups of the mock enemy, motorized rifle subunits on Tiger armored vehicles were involved, which, after pursuing the enemy, destroyed the mock militants from small arms.

Air reconnaissance of the area of the exercise was carried out by crews of unmanned aerial vehicles Orlan-10, transmitting information about the location and composition of enemy forces in real time to the command post of the exercise.

The main objectives of the exercise were to improve practical skills in the destruction of terrorist bandit formations, to practice interaction between units, as well as to develop a single concept for the conduct of hostilities.
