Gov MLG: No time for border visit, mmk…

Governor Lujan Grisham made her way to southern New Mexico on Friday, but decided to skip a visit to the border as the crisis contributes to the state's worsening crime problems.

That's right - while just miles away - Lujan Grisham could not find the time to visit the southern border, as dangerous drugs, like fentanyl, pour into NM as "a direct result of the holes and the gaps that we currently have in the border," according to local sheriffs.

Lujan Grisham's reluctance to engage on the border comes as the Governors of Texas and Arizona, along with 24 other GOP governors, requested a meeting with President Biden to discuss solutions and demand he end the crisis at the border.

"Lujan Grisham was a stone's throw away from a primary source of Albuquerque's crime wave, yet could not find the time to see what her failed response to the border crisis has done," said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. "Despite campaigning on the line that 'No one should get to do border security policy that doesn't live on the border' in 2018, Democratic Governors Association Chair Lujan Grisham continues to ignore the dangerous repercussions of an open border so she doesn't have to acknowledge her Party's failures."
