Celebrating the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Timah Tbk Supports Student Organizations to Hold an Independence Day Walk

KARIMUN -- The Indonesian Islamic Student Movement Karimun Branch received assistance from PT Timah Tbk. This assistance is a form of support for PT Timah Tbk to support student activities in celebrating the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

This assistance was received by representatives of members of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement Karimun Juni Putri Branch on Wednesday (10/8/2022).

Juni Putri said that their organization will hold a Casual Walk with the community in Parit Village, Selat Gelam District, Karimun Regency in order to enliven the 77th Indonesian Independence Day.

"With this leisurely activity, it is hoped that it can foster togetherness and strengthen the relationship between fellow community members who may rarely be together in activities because of restrictions on community activities," she said.

She said, with the momentum of Indonesia's 77th Anniversary, this is the right momentum for
to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

"In addition to being healthy, we are also happy together and get door prizes which will make it even more festive," she said.

Her party appreciates PT Timah Tbk for supporting them to carry out this activity. This, she said, was a form of synergy and collaboration between PT Timah Tbk with students and the community to increase love for the country.

"We appreciate PT Timah for the assistance that has been given, hopefully with the support from PT Timah our activities can run smoothly and successfully. Hopefully PT Timah Tbk will continue to advance," she said.
