South Dakota Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Commission to Hold Two Meetings on May 9

PIERRE, S.D.- The South Dakota Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Commission will hold its annual meeting virtually via Microsoft Teams on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. CDT, followed by a new program and expansion program meeting at 11:30 a.m. CDT.

The agenda of the annual meeting includes updates on the state and national CASA organizations, presentations from six South Dakota CASA programs, discussion and awards. The agenda of the new program and expansion program meeting includes updates on developing new CASA programs, two new CASA program grant application presentations, two current CASA program grant application presentations for expansion, discussion and awards.
