StartUp Ballymun returns featuring a Panel of Founders under 30!

Dublin City Council's StartUp Ballymun returns for its 11th year with a focus on young entrepreneurs and innovation.

This year StartUp Ballymun presents "Rise Up: Innovation Unleashed" A FREE business event on Wednesday 24th of April 4.30pm to 7.30pm at the Council Chambers, Civic Centre, Ballymun. The event offers a unique flavour of practical advice and shared experience, featuring a business owners' panel and advice from enterprise partners.

"Rise Up: Innovation Unleashed" focuses on the example of young entrepreneurs" comments Liam Barry, of Dublin City Council, "and features a Panel of entrepreneurs aged 19 to 27, the event showcases early-stage business journeys, inspiring others with their energy and innovation."

The Panel of Entrepreneurs

  • Bogdan Postolachi and Rickwang Tientcheu of Quantium- Recent students of the Trinity Comprehensive School Ballymun.
  • Joel Olympio of Chapter- Currently on Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme and winner of the Irish James Dyson Award 2023, the Top 20 Global Inventions, James Dyson Award and the Top 100 Global Innovations - Prototypes for Humanity.
  • James Walsh and Ciara Fahy of Justtip- Winners of the Small Firms Association Emerging Business Award and Gold Winner at the National Startup awards.
  • Robert Kelly of HomeHop- Also on Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme.
  • Heather Gilroy of Prints of Ireland- Winner of Fingal Chamber's New Business Award 2023.
  • Rosie McDonagh of Hygiene Hub- Running her business whilst holding down a full-time job with Community Foundation Ireland.
