President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Algeria, Gambia and Senegal on January 26-28, 2020 at his counterparts' invitations.
All aspects of the bilateral relations will be reviewed and regional and international issues will be addressed during the talks to be held as part of the visits.
President Erdoğan's visit to Algeria, which we have strong historical ties with and is among our economic stakeholders, will be the first presidential visit to this country after President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria took office last December.
Through a joint statement to be signed by the two presidents during the visit, the Turkey-Algeria High-Level Cooperation Council will be established.
President Erdoğan's visit to Gambia has historic importance since it will be the first-ever official presidential visit to this country.
President Erdoğan's last stop as part of his programme in Africa is Senegal, with which we have deep-rooted relations.
Various agreements aimed at strengthening the contractual bases of the bilateral relations with these countries are likely to be signed during the visits. Business forums are also planned to be held in Algeria and Senegal.
Respectfully announced to the public.
