Clarksville Parks & Recreation to Unveil Revamped Edith Pettus Park with Grand Opening Celebration

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the grand opening of the revitalized Edith Pettus Park, set to take place on May 4th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The community is invited to join in celebrating the unveiling of the park's extensive renovations, which now feature brand-new field layouts catering to a variety of athletic activities.

The grand opening event will showcase the park's upgraded facilities, including a regulation-size football field, a smaller practice field, a newly installed basketball court and upgraded athletic field lighting.

These additions aim to provide residents with increased opportunities for outdoor recreation and sports as well as additional athletic field rental space.

"We are excited to invite the community to experience the transformation of Edith Pettus Park," said Jennifer Letourneau, Director of Clarksville Parks & Recreation. "The addition of new athletic fields underscores our commitment to enhancing recreational spaces for the benefit of our residents."

The grand opening celebration is open to the public and Clarksville Parks & Recreation staff will be on hand to serve free hamburgers and hotdogs during the event.
