Poll Focuses on Community Improvement Bond Perceptions

​Thank you for sharing your ideas for Salem's Community Improvements Bond! Beginning May 24, 2022, you may be contacted to participate in a City-sponsored telephone poll, sometimes with a text inquiry, to gauge perceptions about the proposal and assess support for the measure.

You can see how your ideas fit into the proposed November 2022 bond measure and where street, sidewalk, and park projects are planned - along with future fire stations, branch libraries and affordable housing.

The proposed measure is an opportunity to make needed improvements without increasing the City's property tax rate, - because several previously approved bond measures will be expiring and removed from the tax rolls over the next decade.
