Scouts of the Southern Military District in Karachay-Cherkessia begin mountain training

More than 250 servicemen of the reconnaissance units of the motorized rifle (mountain) formation of the Southern Military District (SMD), stationed in Karachay-Cherkessia, began practical training in mountain training.

During the training, the scouts improve their skills in overcoming rocky terrain of varying complexity using climbing equipment.

Also, the servicemen will conduct reconnaissance and search activities in mountainous terrain and woodlands, study the ways of arranging shelters in conditions of various forms of mountainous terrain, and practice high-speed shooting.
